Gray has been in Hoboken, NJ working on a new CD that will be full of Catchy Pop Rock songs as well as songs from the heart. He is about 80% there but still has a few more songs to go. He has also been busy rounding out the line up for "The Lost Souls" which will be his new band. The slated release date for the CD is Mid March.

Gray Gurkin’s diversity in writing music crosses all genres.

In 2007 Gray received honorable mention in the international John Lennon Songwriting Contest for his song “Show Me The Way” in the Gospel/Inspirational category. This highly respected contest has thousands of entries which is open to both amateur and professional songwriters.  It is quite an honor!

Gray also received the honorable mention nod in 2007 from the 15^th annual Billboard World Songwriting competition for his Pop Country/Rock song "Brand New Tattoo".
